This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website (hybtra.com), browser extension(s), VS Code extension, mobile or desktop applications, and any related services (collectively, the "Services").

  • Account data – name, email address, password (hashed), profession, country/state, and any profile details you optionally add.
  • Prompt content – prompts you create, save, up-vote, bookmark, and associated metadata.
  • Payment data – subscription identifiers and plan selections handled by Dodo Payments. We do not store full card details.
  • Support or feedback – information you include when you contact us.

2.2Information we collect automatically

  • Usage data – pages visited, features used, referral URLs, and session timestamps collected via first-party analytics.
  • Device & log data – browser type, operating system, IP address (anonymised where possible), and error logs.
  • Cookies & similar technologies – used for authentication, user preferences, and analytics.

2.3Information from third-party sources

If you sign in with Google, GitHub, or other identity providers, we receive your basic profile details (name, email, avatar) in accordance with their privacy policies.

  • To create and manage your Hybtra account
  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Services
  • To personalise content such as recommended prompts
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions via Dodo Payments
  • To send transactional messages (e.g. account, billing, or service updates)

We process personal data under the following bases: (i) contract performance, (ii) legitimate interests (such as security and service improvement), (iii) consent (where applicable, e.g. marketing emails), and (iv) legal compliance.

9. Browser & VS Code Extensions

Our Chrome/Edge and VS Code extensions follow Google Chrome Web Store Program Policies section 1. Specifically:

  • No data is sold to third parties.
  • Data is used only to provide core features (e.g. showing your saved prompts).
  • We do not use or transfer data for personalised advertising.
  • All in-extension network requests use HTTPS.

10. Children's Privacy

Hybtra is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and, if the changes are material, notify you via email or in-app notice.
